Before his family moved to San Luis Obispo, Dr. Patel spent his childhood in London, England. He lived and attended school on the Central Coast until leaving for college to study biochemistry at UCLA. Upon receiving his bachelors degree he attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, earning his doctorate degree in 1998.

Today Dr. Patel serves the dental health needs of patients who live throughout the Central Coast.

Dr. Patel returned to the Central Coast and established his own practice after working in several dental offices. He opened his first office in Grover Beach in 2002, but it wasn’t long before his practice outgrew that space and moved to the Pismo Beach Medical Campus. Today Dr. Patel serves the dental health needs of patients who live throughout the Central Coast.

Providing the best possible dental care for his patients is important to Dr. Patel. He keeps abreast of the most up to date dental therapies and technologies by attending seminars and training. “Science, including dental science, is always evolving as research increases our knowledge,” says Dr. Patel. “I owe it to my patients to always offer them the most advanced dental health possible.”

Dr. Patel is active in local area dental outreach programs that provide dental health screening and low-cost dental services to communities in need. His professional memberships include the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Central Coast Dental Society.

Dr. Patel and his wife have two children. Outside of the office he enjoys time with his family, playing golf, reading, listening to country, spiritual and 80s music.
